Maintenance on Business Gateway and Corporate Gateway in 2024

Services affected: Card Payouts, Merchant Administration Interface, Order Inquiries, Order Modifications / Autocapture, Pay As Order, Secure Test, Velocity checking, Online Refunds, and Futurepay

Impact: Service disruption
Duration: 4 hours
Date: 25 April 2024 Start: 16:00 UTC End: 20:00 UTC
We will carry out our routine controlled data centre fail over of the Worldwide Payment Gateway on the above dates in 2023, between 16:00 and 21:00 UTC.

This will allow us to prove that a fail over to our alternative data centre works as intended, which is a necessary step to prevent uncontrolled outages during planned maintenance.

The fail over also allows us to continue our program of network maintenance activities, upgrading associated hardware and software whilst providing new security features.

Services affected

Card Payouts: Mastercard and Visa Payout attempts will be queued and processed after maintenance is complete. Visa Direct Payouts and Mastercard Send Payouts will not be affected.

Merchant Administration Interface: The Merchant Administration Interface will be unavailable for up to 180 minutes.

Order Inquiries: Order Inquiries will be unavailable for up to 180 minutes. If you have integrated Order inquiry responses into your payment processing, then this could cause impact during our maintenance.

Order Modifications/Autocapture: You can still send us Order Modifications or Autocaptures during the maintenance period but they will be queued. Please don’t resubmit Order Modifications. All queued Order Modifications and Autocaptures will be cleared by the end of the maintenance period.

Order Notifications: Notifications will be queued for up to 180 minutes. Once the notification service resumes notifications will be sent in order and will work towards usual service.

Pay As Order: Pay As Order requests submitted will fail if the original order is older than three days. We recommend resubmitting any failed requests after the maintenance is complete to process the payment successfully.

Secure Test: Secure Test will be unavailable for up to 180 minutes.

Velocity checking: Velocity checking will be unavailable for up to 90 minutes.

Online Refund Processing: Online Refund Processing will be unavailable for up to 180 minutes.

Futurepay: Futurepay will be unavailable for up to 90 minutes.
